The Benefits of Automated Net Weight Filling
Automated net weight filling systems offer significant advantages for high-value products in the paint and coatings, lubricant, chemicals, and food markets. These systems ensure precise and consistent filling, reducing product waste and improving overall efficiency. By automating the filling process, businesses can achieve higher throughput, maintain product integrity, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, automated systems minimize human error, enhance safety, and provide detailed data for better process control and optimization.
The Ideal Pase Model AE2-CGP is a high-accuracy filling solution designed for 3 to 5-gallon metal and plastic pails. This machine offers a comprehensive set of features to streamline and enhance the filling process:
Key Features:
- Large Color Touchscreen HMI & Lighted Push button Panel: Facilitates recipe management, real-time performance monitoring, and mechanical controls.
- Two-Head Fill Station: Equipped with vented cone nozzles and dual air-actuated ball valves per nozzle for precise coarse and fine filling control. Integrated 2-scale system ensures accurate performance by isolating from conveyor vibrations.
- Robust Reciprocating Lid Placing Station: Efficiently places both metal crimped and plastic friction lids in a compact footprint.
- Fully Guarded Crimping Station: Ensures safety during the crimping process.
- Robust Roller Closing Station: Provides reliable sealing for plastic friction lids with standard guarding.
Operational Process:
- Metal Pails: Transported via chain conveyor to the two-scale stations, where they are tared and auto-filled to exact weights specified in the PLC-stored recipe. Filled pails are then moved to the reciprocating lid placing station, followed by the crimping station for sealing. Final steps include labeling, palletizing, and shrink wrapping.
- Plastic Pails: Follow a similar filling process, with the reciprocating lid placer using a suction cup arm to place lids. Filled and lidded plastic pails are sealed at the heavy-duty rolling closer station before proceeding to packaging.
The Ideal Pase Model AE2-CGP is a complete solution for filling, lidding, and sealing plastic and metal pails, suitable for various applications including caustic filling, hazardous environments, and food processing.
